We are just 3 regular Raider
fans that in a very respectful manner are calling the organization to acknowledge
that whatever their plan, whatever they think is working, IT IS NOT! We love,
respect and acknowledge that Mr. Davis has had a great run and is probably one
of the best NFL owners of all time. However, we feel he is no longer capable
of running the show on his own.
We feel:
1) He needs to step down as GM. He can continue to own the team (of course,
it's HIS!), he just needs to give the General Manager position to someone else.
2) A new NFL capable GM should be hired.
3) The new GM should hire a superbowl caliber coach that will return us to greatness. No
disrespect intended for Mr. Cable.
4) The new coach and new GM should decide themselves on the roster, draft, football
decisions (schemes, coordinators, etc) without their hand being forced from above.
Our plan is simple and we are completely sure if Mr. Davis decides to follow
these 4 steps, the Raiders will return to greatness in 3 to 5 years.
